Despite getting a
tremendous positive response when the official announcement, Nikon D800 is now
getting some harsh criticism. Nikon's latest DSLR D700 which is the successor
of this new officially circulated in the market for a week, but already many
users are reporting some problems with the camera.
On paper, specifications
of the Nikon D800 does look nearly perfect, with the greatest resolution ever
in a full frame DSLR combined with full HD video recording capabilities are
fully featured. But quite a lot of the camera unit is reported to show tone
that ran in the direction of green on the LCD screen. Although in certain
circumstances such as this tone makes the photo more dramatic, but more obvious
is desired by the user according to the natural colors are photographed at the
time. Color error is actually only visible on the LCD screen and does not
affect the results of the photo itself, it can trick the user is not aware of
it.
Another problem is the function of Commander
in the D800, Commander setting is used as a trigger to fire the flash by using
the flash pop-up D800. This function is the function most often used by users
of Nikon cameras, unfortunately, many report that this function occasionally
error when using the flash many times.
Compatibility of the CF
is also a problem, like the Nikon D800 is not compatible with some old CF. Many
users who can not use old CF cards from previous cameras. Actually this is not
a problem because it has been written in Nikon D800 manual, just can not be
explained only in his official announcement.
But do not worry, the
good news is that all issues had been resolved with the latest firmware update
from Nikon. Not yet known when the firmware update release time.
