George
Hotz, better known by the name 'Geohot', 22-year-old boy known for his work as
the first hacker who managed to jailbreak the iPhone and PlayStation 3, has
been arrested for possession of marijuana involved in the problem.
Geohot
was driving with his friend to the SXSW conference in Austin, Texas to discuss
'The Final Frontier of Reverse Engineering', but in the way they should stop at
the border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca. Officers using sniffer dogs to check
the goods, luggage, and car Hotz was the dog found irregularities.
Hotz
came from California and he has permission for marijuana because of health
problems. A box of his car containing a quarter ounce of marijuana and the
other is equivalent to less than one-eighth ounce. Typically, the amount of
marijuana that is allowed for medical reasons will be secured from confiscation
and warnings, but Hotz disadvantaged when officers found a total price of $ 800
Hotz ownership, rather than $ 15 Hotz alleged to have been paid. The results
are given Hotz crime and security charge of $ 1.500. Hotz himself has not
commented on this.
