Linux
open source operating system has just released the latest kernel is kernel 3.3.
One of the highlights of the release of Linux kernel 3.3 is the Combined code
from Google Android project. This information is reported via Twitter by
AndroidDev and through Google + pleh DeWitt Clinton.
Merging
the two operating systems is an effort that has been pioneered for some time
and now a new accomplished. With this kernel then the developers will be able
to boot Android or running applications in the default Linux kernel.
Unfortunately, some features still not included in this version of the kernel
that is optimized power management and other infrastructure. This feature is
planned entry in the kernel 3.4.
In
addition to integrating Android, Linux kernel 3.3 also brings a variety of
other new features such as file system Brtfs, memory management, networking,
security, and others. Some small features also were added, including new
drivers and fixes.
