Apple
seems to have managed to get a patent from the USPTO (U.S. Patent and Trademark
Office) on the face recognition feature on the device. Apple had previously
registered patents since many months ago now seem to be relieved is granted requests.
Gadget
sites Apple Insider which first reported the news leaked patent 'facial
recognition' is different from the approved with unlock features already
present face first on the ICS Android OS 4.0. The main difference is where face
unlock feature just like the features that match scanner photo facial
similarities to lock or unlock the device, then Apple do it more complex.
Not
only to unlock and lock the device, but the system can be used to determine the
types of settings and any applications that match the user's time. In other
words, users can customize different user on a device, ranging from email,
application, text message, to the preferences of each user who is certain to be
different.
Whether
this feature will be present in the iPhone and the iPad in the near future?
Apple still has not officially announce it.
