It
seems that Apple is still grappling with the problem of production of new iPad
components, where the retina screen display is still limited in number. This is
said because it was so tight that standards applied by Apple so that suppliers
who meet the qualifications are also very limited. It is known from reports
AppleInsider who spoke with Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at KGI Securities.
Until
now the main supplier for the Retina Display is still dependent on the Samsung,
where the second quarter of this year's new LG joined in to help. This is known
as Apple had asked LG to improve the quality of the screen. Similarly, the
Sharp is said to date still have not started the production phase. Problems
with Sharp said is a lack of stability of the material considering the use of
technology Oxide, as this is not expected to develop Sharp Retina Display up to
2012 quarter 3 this year.
The
new iPad is estimated to have sold over 13.1 million units last quarter, which
is expected by the presence of the supply of new Retina Display in this
quarter, sales rose to number 18.6 million.
