Baidu,
the search engine service from China to announce their earnings in the first
three months of 2011 (Q1 2011). They earned revenues of $ 677 million, up 75
percent over revenues in the same period in previous year. Baidu net revenue
gain to $ 299 million, also up 75.9 percent over the same period in 2011. Going
forward in the second quarter of this year, Baidu's revenue target of $ 847-867
million.

CEO Robin Li expressed his confidence about the future of Baidu:'' Internet in
China is growing rapidly and we are very interested in the opportunity to grow
even faster in the area of mobile and cloud computing. We believe that Baidu
uniquely positioned for growth in China's online marketplace.'' It Baidu's
revenue and net profit is still very much compared to Google which reported in
Q1 2012 revenue of $ 10.65 billion and net income of $ 2.89 billion.
But
remember Baidu is only popular in China, the income of $ 299 million was old
