On
Tuesday it was announced officially that the current CEO of Apple, Tim Cook,
will be the opening speaker at the opening night of the conference D10. This
will being Cook's first appearance at the conference, which contradicts the
previous Apple CEO, Steve Jobs. Last time Jobs appearance at a similar
conference was two years ago at D8.
Cook
will be joined by several other major vendors CEO, including CEO of Oracle,
Larry Ellison, CEO of Spotify, Daniel Ek, CEO of Zynga, Mark Pincus,
entrepreneur Sean Parker, etc.. D10 conference will be held on the 29-31Mei
2012, located in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
Cook
itself is not a new person at Apple, where before he was appointed as acting
CEO of Apple COO is responsible for global sales and operations of the supplier
until all sales activities and services to consumers. In addition, Cook has
also previously known to coordinate the unit MacIntosh. Prior to working at
Apple, Cook also worked at Compaq, Intelligent Electronics, and a dozen years
at IBM.
