Google
announced that it has acquired the Quickoffice, a company that contributes to
the Android mobile operating system and IOS. Google plans to bring 'advanced
technology' in Quickoffice into their own applications. Quickoffice allows
users to create and edit Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on their mobile
devices.
While Quickoffice is now installed on more
than 300 million devices in over 180 countries. acquisition is to be Google's
second major acquisition this week. Some time ago, Google acquired Meebo chat
service at a price of about $ 100 million. Quickoffice for this acquisition,
not its magnitude mentioned by Google and Quickoffice. 'QuickOffice has a
