For
those who already bought HDTV adapter for the previous Android phones seem to
be buying a new connector when you upgrade your phone to the Galaxy S III. South
Korean vendors are already confirmed that they changed the pin layout of the
Galaxy S III that SFM-HDMI adapter currently in circulation are not compatible
with the Samsung's latest flagship phone.
It
was originally discovered by a British retailer, Clove, when it was trying out
their old adapter with the Android phone. Samsung reported in his blog that the
connector pins on the Galaxy S III is somewhat different from that to display
the S III on HD monitor or TV adapter required latest Samsung official.
Adapters
that have been sold officially by Samsung is priced at $ 40. Unfortunately
still not known whether the adapter will be also compatible with other Samsung
devices in the future.
