Google's
Android 4.0 ICS has now been installed about 16 percent of all Android devices.
The news emerged a few days before in a
posting on the official website of Android. Android 4.0 managed to shift
position Android 2.2 to third.
Google
explains, they get this result based on the device that accesses the Google
Android Play the last two weeks. This figure is mentioned that the Android
version 2.3.3 to 2.3.7 to get share of 60.3 percent, where 4.0 and 4.0.2 versions
0.1 and 15.8 percent received. For the new Android 4.1 that officially present
at the output of Google as Nexus 7 gets share of less than 1 percent.
The
development of version 4.0 is quite rapidly from month to month, perhaps
because many companies have started to provide an update to the device made
them. Still the amount of popularity is the concentration of major 2.x version
for Google, because the developers complained about the fragmentation in the
Android is a major obstacle to developing their applications on Google's
platform.
