NVIDIA
and its mobile chipset, Tegra, joined Miracast standard for wireless streaming
of HD movies and photos. This standard allows users to stream content is high
definition of quad-core tablet or phone to an HDTV without HDMI cable
connection. In other words, this standard allows users to watch content from
the tablet / mobile phones to HDTV wireless.
By
joining NVIDIA with Wi-Fi Alliance, the company is ready to present a certified
device Miracast. With Miracast, it becomes very easy wireless streaming and
high quality. Not only streaming movies or photos, users can also stream such
as playing games or doing presentations.
The
video below shows the implementation of NVIDIA with Miracast. NVIDIA is working
with its OEM partners to bring this technology to a new device.
