After activating the two step verification system, Dropbox will give you an emergency code that you can use when you lose access to your phone, for example when the phone is stolen or lost. Dropbox advise you to record and store the emergency code in the first place you think is safe.

In addition, it is advisable to disconnect and reconnect your mobile device with a Dropbox account. by doing the 2-step verification feature will be active on your mobile device, so you will get a notification via email whenever there is trying to get into your Dropbox account via mobile devices that are not listed.
