In February, Motorola had announced that it will release the Android ICS upgrade for various smartphone models. However, the list seems to be given an upgrade smartphone has been reduced.
Among the few smartphones that will not get ICS update is the Motorola Atrix 4G, Photon 4G and Electrify. All three are just stuck on Android Gingerbread, while another smartphone is still in the plan although it is likely there will be a change of date.
Motorola Mobility has been bought by Google, so it's quite surprising why some phones if not the full support from the makers of the OS. Moreover, if you see that the phone has support 4G so it is quite feasible to be upgraded to a more advanced operating system.
