Nokia and Oracle is rumored to have completed the deal. Nokia will provide Oracle clients with access to map data and location services owned by Nokia. The Wall Street Journal has confirmed about the agreement with the representatives of Nokia last Sunday, and it will be announced in next day at the OracleWorld conference in San Francisco.
For Oracle, this deal is an easy way to provide clients with accurate mapping data, while Nokia a profit in the business sector, as well as be one way to demonstrate their mapping technology to potential customers who may not know the Nokia mapping service.
