Foxconn Preparing to Make Phone for Microsoft and Amazon

Foxconn International Holdings (FIH) reportedly has received orders for mobile from Microsoft and Amazon. The phone will be launched in mid-2013. This information was reported by Digitimes that obtained leaked from sources upstream component supply network.

The phone for Microsoft will be use the operating system of Windows Phone 8. Mobile shipments for Microsoft and Amazon by FIH was originally only going to amount to a limited and probably will be the business model for the assembler in the future.

As we know, Foxconn is the company that assembles of iPhones. Meanwhile FIH which is a subsidiary company has several clients such as Nokia, Sony, Lenovo, Huawei and ZTE.
