As our post before about Samsung wants to release a smartphone with flexible screen by the end of this year but Samsung has just confirmed that the presence of a flexible mobile phone will be delayed due to problems with encapsulation technology.
The problem is though Samsung has perfected its manufacturing technology, but OLED screens also require encapsulation to protect them from moisture and oxygen. Samsung has used Vitex System technology to handle it, but now it seems they have some serious problems with the process of encapsulation.
Vitex is that the problem with this process is significantly slowed production so Samsung was looking for a different encapsulation techniques. So, it seems they will be overtaken by their countrymen competitors, LG in terms of flexible screen smartphone.
