The Truth About iPhone 6 Plus

The Truth About iPhone 6 Plus

The iPhone 6 Plus was released on September 19, 2014 along with the iPhone 6. The differences between these phones are mainly in screen size and pixel resolution. Some people are unsure whether this is enough to justify the price increase that comes with picking up the iPhone 6 Plus. And even more people are wondering if the iPhone 6 plus is superior to other phones on the market. Let's take a look at what the 6 Plus has to offer.

The iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5 inch diagonal screen. This is very convenient because you'll never have to worry about having too small of a screen when it comes to watching videos or looking at pictures. The size also is not enormous in that you can not even fit the phone inside your pocket. The 6 Plus fits snugly in your pocket if you are an average male wearing fitted jeans. Most of the time you can keep your 6 Plus inside your coat pocket anyway if you are living in a colder area where the weather clothing such demands. One issue regarding size is that it's difficult to operate the phone using one hand. There is a one-handed feature that allows you to bring down half of your screen so icons can easily be reached but even then it's difficult to reach all the way from side to side on the phone if you have average sized hands. Most of the time you'll be using the 6 Plus with two hands, it's possible to type with one hand but it is very slow unless your hands are very large.

The screen resolution looks outstanding on the 6 Plus. When you first pick it up everything looks very crisp and crystal clear on the screen. If you take proper care of your iPhone you'll be able to enjoy a nice display for the months to come while using your phone. If you do not take good care of your iPhone and it collects smudges on the screen then the display will not look as good.

Setting up the iPhone 6 Plus is very simple. iOS in general is very easy to operate and straight forward. Just plug the phone in and instructions are given on how to get started. There is a fingerprint feature that allows you to not have to type in your pass code if you want to unlock your phone, just place your fingertip on the home button and you'll be able to gain access. Again, this feature is very easy to set up.

The iPhone 6 Plus camera takes good quality pictures. It's an 8-megapixel camera; surprising images turn out well on the iPhone 6 Plus. There is not much need to change any settings, everything is done automatically while you're taking pictures so you can enjoy snapping away right after you buy the phone. Videos could be a bit better though and if you're taking pictures in low light it may be a bit more difficult to get a clearer image.
