It's hard to say that the BlackBerry Playbook has been to gain success in any standards, but it looks like RIM think there are other ways to do, because at this Playbook is only available in WiFi models only. RIM assumes no problems with operating system functionality. Because Playbook 2.0 software has improved some of the issues we had with the software.
Today we see there are three kinds of models that successfully pass PlayBook FCC tests, all of these models using cellular signals. There is a theoretical model for the operator AT & T with the signal needed for 700MHz LTE network operators, as well as HSPA + 850MHz and 1900MHz UMTS. Another model is theoretically destined for Verizon, has EV-DO signal and LTE which can work well with the operator. Last model is likely to become the property of the operator T-Mobile, or it could be an international version, because it supports 850MHz, AWS, and 1900MHz UMTS. All three models also have the NFC technology, as we already preached before.
We just say 'in theory' for all models are likely to be released by the operator, because the FCC certification does not necessarily mean the device will actually be released to the market.
