BlackBerry Still Famous  in the United States Government


BlackBerry phone line was still an option for at least half a million federal employees, including U.S. President, Barack Obama. When RIM is fighting to overcome intense competition in the consumer market and enterprise, BlackBerry sales in the U.S. government was still growing. Last year sold 400 thousand RIM BlackBerry device to the government.

Also many previous users to upgrade to the BlackBerry OS 7 and add a BlackBerry server. Scott Totzke who runs a business selling RIM with the U.S. government said that during the past year there were 40 per cent of subscriptions from the government that RIM upgrade to the new device. However, some agencies began to change course and allow employees to use other smartphones, so that the future triumph of BlackBerry in government could be displaced.
