Canon USA has just
announced a DLSR EOS 60Da, a modified version of the 60D. EOS 60Da digital SLR
camera is designed specifically for astrophotography enthusiasts. Using an
infrared filter that has 3x wave transmission in Hydrogen Alpha light. The
camera can capture phenomena such as the Horse head and Rosette.
Just like the EOS 60D,
EOS 60Da also has 18-megapixel camera. But the Canon 60Da enhanced claims on
the screen for astronomical purposes. While the screen size is fixed at
3-inches and 1.04 million dots resolution.
This is not the first
astrophotography cameras Canon issued. In 2005, Canon has released EOS 20Da
camera - the EOS 20D Modified series - which has been discontinued. EOS 60Da
will be available on the market starting this month at a price of $ 1,499.99 and
only in a particular dealer.
