MacBook Pro with the Retina Display will be shipped from Apple within the next 3-4 weeks, it has been officially notified by the Apple Store site. This estimate is down from previous estimates provided by Apple that is 2-3 weeks when the laptop was released a few days ago.
At the WWDC show last 2012, Phil Schiller said that the MacBook Pro by Retina Display will be directly available to users. Apparently it is no longer true. The reason the decline of shipping the new MacBook Pro schedule is likely due to high consumer demand for laptops with 15-inch screen.
MacBook Pro with the Retina Display itself can be ordered in two versions, a 15-inch to 2.3 GHz, or 15 inches with 2.6 Ghz. Other specifications are the presence of 512GB of flash storage, quad-core processor Intel Core i7, 8GB of 1600MHz memory, Intel HD 4000 Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650m with 1GB of GDDR5 memory, and built-in battery with capacity of up to 7 hours. Do not miss the news about the presence of a free upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion, which currently only shipped with OS X Lion.
