Polaroid will have a New Camera with Android OS Coming In January 2013
In January, the Consumer Electronics Show next event will be held in Las Vegas, shows the consumer products that will soon emerge. One of the participants of the event is a Polaroid instant camera manufacturer. They will show a camera with a lens that can be changed, the camera will run with Android operating system.

Polaroid CEO, Scott Hardy, confirming the existence of the device, it's called the IM1836, although he did not give a lot of detailed info about the capabilities of these devices. According to rumors, manufacture Sakar will manufacture these devices. The camera is rumored to use a sensor 18.1 megapixel, 3.5-inch touchscreen and Android 4.0 ICS.

Last January Polaroid introduces SC1630 ( as picture above), a digital camera that has an operating system Android 2.3 Gingerbread, has a 16MP resolution with 3X optical zoom capabilities, a 3.2-inch touch screen and Wi-Fi connectivity, so you can instantly upload your camera results to social networks directly.

IM1836 will compete with other Android-powered camera, such as the Galaxy Camera. However IM1836 has a distinct advantage, the lens system can be changed, of course semi-professional photography will love it.
