RIM Announces BlackBerry Curve 9315, Release January 23


Meanwhile we're waiting for BlackBerry 10, RIM still managed to announce a new phone based on the BlackBerry 7.1 OS. The phone is called the BlackBerry Curve 9315 will be available on January 23 or a week before the release of BlackBerry 10.

BlackBerry Curve 9315 will be available through operator T-Mobile in the United States. Curve 9315 is targeted to the base class specifications include a 3.2 megapixel camera, microSD card slot, and a QWERTY keyboard as usual. Unlike the 9220, the Curve 9315 has 3G connectivity and GPS.

BlackBerry Curve 9315 will be available at a price of 49.9 dollars if binding contract. Not yet known whether the Curve 9315 will be available in other regions as well as the price when the contract is not binding.
